Our Subteams
Business
The business team is responsible for most of the behind the scenes work that allows the team to run. They are in charge of creating and maintaining budgets, creating relationships with sponsors, team communication, and much more.
Powertrain
The students on the powertrain subteam are responsible for the drive system. They research, design, and fabricate custom battery packs. They are also responsible for bike handling and data validation.
Chassis
The chassis team designs and fabricates a custom chassis to accommodate the high forces experienced on a track or road. They also attach and maintain brakes, create custom mounts for components, and design and fabricate custom fairings.
Controls
The controls team design and program a custom rider interface, create custom PCBs, handle data acquisition, and relay and manage live communication from the bike systems to the pit.
